Our Registration Process

Are you registering from a school or agency professional?

1

Initial Registration

To begin the registration process, we’ll need some information about your young person. You can

register directly for an available activity on the What's On page.

2

Creating a support plan

Once we receive your details, we’ll create a tailored support plan for your young person. This will include gathering information about their interests, dislikes, support needs, and any relevant background. Understanding this helps us make sure F4YP is the right setting for them, suggest clubs they might enjoy, and provide a positive, inclusive experience when they attend.

3

Booking A School Visit

The next step is a visit with your young person at school. At F4YP, we have strong connections with schools across Bedfordshire, so we’re happy to coordinate directly with them.

This visit helps us finalise the support plan by hearing directly from your young person about how we can best meet their needs. It’s also a great opportunity for us to introduce ourselves and help reduce any anxiety before they join our activities.

4

Bursary or Payment?

Across our service, 75% of the places we offer are fully funded, with the remaining 25% available at a subsidised rate. Depending on the type of place you're applying for and the information you provide, we may request bursary evidence and/or payment to confirm. See Bursary Criteria below.

5

Confirmation - Ready to go!

Once we have completed the school visit, received bursary evidence and/or payment, we will confirm your young persons space either over phone or by email. Check out Our Service to see how we will be supporting your young person and family.

PAID: If your young person does not qualify for a bursary ticket we have paid places available. These places are subsidised.

AGE: A ticket may also be specific to an age group. If a ticket title includes “School Year” it is for the school years specified only.

HAF - for some Holiday clubs, HAF tickets may be available for those who are eligible. If you are eligible, a link will be sent to you directly by your school/council and tickets must be booked via the HAF portal. We will also require F4YP's form to be completed in order for your YP to attend.

If the ticket you require is unavailable, please contact the team.

75% of places offered across our service are funded, with 25% being subsidised. With thanks to our partners, donors and FUN-Raisers!
36% of our young people have SEND/SEMH needs, have 1:1 at school, have an EHCP or have ESOL

SEND support

Due to the nature of our funding, we do not offer 1:1 support or supervision.

However, many young people who receive 1:1 support in school (particularly for academic reasons) are still able to take part in our programmes within small group settings.

We work closely with schools to carry out individual assessments and determine whether our environment is a suitable and supportive fit for your young person.

School & Agency Referral

As a school or agency you can refer on behalf of a parent or guardian.

Once this referral is made we will then be in contact with the parent or guardian directly and start our registration process above.

To start this process you can submit a school/agency referral using the form below.

  • You must have parent/guardian consent to complete our form to comply with GDPR

  • Our form will ask you to consent for data sharing and emergency first aid treatment on behalf of the parent/guardian.

  • Please include any background information that may be relevant in supporting this YP
