The Support We Offer

Child Support

We work with children and young people to improve wellbeing, raise their self-confidence and build resilience by providing wrap-around support.

Our pastoral team work with each YP to create support plans and risk assessments where needed, to enable them to access activities to suit their needs.

Family Support

Working with our young people’s families to provide a vital support network for them, bridging the gap to their wider community including sign posting for parents/ carers/ siblings.

We run a weekly Coffee & Connect for parents/ carers to attend, where you can meet with our pastoral team and access further support.

We offer Parent/Carer therapeutic support workshops both online and face to face throughout the year, guided by our therapist.

Therapeutic Support

We offer this service to young people identified by our team as most in need. Working in a child focused way our therapist specialties include trauma, PTSD, anxiety, emotional disturbance, family conflict and self-esteem.

These 1:1 sessions are offered in blocks of 8-12 sessions. Continued support is given by our pastoral team and regular contact with the therapist in cases where a revisit of sessions is needed.

Face to Face Delivery

F4YP delivers year-round face to face sessions including pastoral support, therapy, after school or holiday clubs including sports, arts, adventure and educational activities. These are informed by our young people and adapted to suit their individual needs. We tackle issues such as bullying, isolation and social skills, while promoting positive wellbeing, communication and relationship building.

Partnership Working

F4YP works in partnership with other local agencies, including 50+ schools, children’s services and specialist organisations, supporting young people and their families to identify unmet needs and ensure consistent support is being given.

We support multi agency meetings (TAF/CIN/CP/LAC) and are in regular contact with agencies supporting the family.
