FAQs

  • No. Anyone can sign up to any activity they would like to attend. if you are unsure what would be suitable but want to register with the service you can sign up to our waiting list and one of the team will get in touch.

  • If your register box is still orange and won’t let you check out, this means there is a field marked incomplete. Eventbrite can be temperamental! Please make sure all drop down boxes have been amended. All boxes must be filled therefore put N/A if that box doesn’t apply to you or a 0 in any number field.

  • HAF (Holiday Activity & Food) is a government funded scheme for children entitled to Free School meals (FSM) due to household income. This means a place booked as a HAF ticket includes lunch. These places are only available on certain holiday courses and must be booked using E-Vouchers sent out by schools.

Bursary places are available for all activities throughout the year and offer subsidised places for those who qualify. See full criteria on our Need to Know page.

  • We ask that if you know you have other arrangements that you do not book on to holiday clubs if you cannot attend all days. This is due to being a funded project with limited spaces.

We understand during holidays is when appointments such as dentist/ paediatrician etc may be made and are happy to arrange later drop offs/ earlier collections for these.

  • F4YP is a funded project therefore does not have the capability to offer extended days. We will not allow YP to enter site earlier than the expected start time.

  • F4YP does not want transport to be a barrier for a YP to attend, if this is something that affects you please contact the team to see how we can help.

  • Swimming sessions run throughout the year in 5-6 week blocks each half term. You need to sign up to our swimming waiting list and our team will allocate you sessions based on YPs ability.

Sessions run from 4.30pm-7.15pm, with beginners in the earlier sessions and more advanced in the later sessions.

If you have more than 1 YP attending they may well be in different sessions if they have different abilities.

  • The way we allocate age groups for sessions differs depending on the activity. This can be due to ability, health and safety, safeguarding, as well as YP enjoyment.

  • Lunch is only provided for HAF places booked through E-Vouchers for YP entitled to income related Free School Meals.

All Young People are expected to bring a packed lunch and water bottle.
