Pastoral Team Opportunities:

Provide holistic pastoral support to young people (aged 12-16) and their families across Bedford
Co-lead afterschool clubs in 5 “activity cold spots,” creating 500 youth spaces across the academic year
Research young people’s activity preferences through surveys, focus groups, and school/community engagement
Use research insights to design engaging, accessible afterschool activities tailored to local needs
Coordinate and deliver 3 afterschool clubs per week, ensuring smooth operation and young people’s engagement
Support young people with 1:1 pastoral care, school visits, and referrals to other services
Build strong partnerships with schools, families, and community organisations to enhance youth support
Act as a safeguarding lead, attending relevant meetings and ensuring risk assessments are up to date
Maintain accurate records, reports, and evaluations using Salesforce and other systems
Promote F4YP’s services at assemblies, parent evenings, youth forums, and community events
Drive the F4YP van to transport young people, staff, and equipment to sessions
🕒 22.5 hours/week | Term Time Only | Fixed Term (2 years)
💰 Salary: £12,850.50 (incl. pro-rata holiday)

Are you passionate about helping young people build confidence and skills in the water? We're looking for an enthusiastic, qualified Swimming Teacher to deliver inspiring lessons every Thursdays 4.15-7.15pm at Polam Swim School, Bedford!
What You'll Do:
🏊 Teach 5 engaging sessions, tailored to swimmers aged 5–16 and at various skill levels
🌟 Adapt lessons to bring out the best in each swimmer, from beginners to intermediate levels
