Course Tutor

Exciting Opportunity for Inspiring Tutors! Join the Fun 4 Young People Team! Are you passionate about art, music, sport, or other activities that inspire and empower young people? Fun 4 Young People (F4YP) is looking for Tutors to create fun, engaging, and supportive experiences for young people (ages 5–16) in Bedford and Kempston. Role Highlights: 🎨 Lead and teach a range of activities in art, music, sports, or other creative fields to build confidence and skills 🤝 Create a welcoming, safe, and enjoyable environment where young people can try new things, make friends, and develop self-belief 🌟 Act as a role model, demonstrating our core values of Respect, Honesty, Fun, and Dream Big Details: Work during school holidays 8-4pm (Feb Half Term, Easter, Summer) and possibly after-school clubs Flexible self-employed role with competitive pay Full support, including safeguarding and Team Teach training Job description Join us to make a real difference, share your passion, and help young people reach their potential!

Course Assistant

Join Our Team as a Course Assistant! We're looking for enthusiastic Course Assistants to support young people and tutors during holiday and after-school clubs. As a role model, you'll inspire with positivity, uphold our values, and help organise activities that encourage engagement and fun! Sport Coach

We're looking for enthusiastic, energetic Sport Coaches to join F4YP and deliver exciting, engaging after-school and holiday sports clubs for young people aged 5–16 in Bedford & Kempston. 💥 What You’ll Do Lead fun, inclusive sports sessions that build skills & confidence Create a safe, friendly space for young people to be active, make friends & try new things Work closely with a passionate, supportive team Help young people develop teamwork, respect & a love for sport 📍 Location: Bedford Borough schools 📅 When: After-school hours, with opportunities for holiday clubs 💼 Contract Type: Self-employed 🧑‍🎓Age: Currently looking for applicants aged 18+ 💰 Pay: Based on age, experience & qualifications 🎓 Training Provided: Safeguarding, Team Teach We’re after positive role models who love sport, connect easily with young people, and are ready to inspire the next generation.

1:1 Reading Volunteer

Do you love reading and want to inspire young minds? Join Fun 4 Young People (F4YP) as a 1:1 Reading Volunteer during our holiday clubs and help children build confidence and a love for books! 🌟 💡 What You’ll Do: ✅ Spend one-on-one time reading with children aged 5-11 ✅ Help young people improve their reading skills and boost their confidence ✅ Encourage a love for stories through engaging discussions and activities ✅ Help us create a calm and fun environment for learning 💖 What You’ll Gain: 🌟 The joy of helping a child discover the magic of reading 🌟 Valuable experience working with children 🌟 Skills in communication, patience, and mentoring 🌟 The reward of making a real difference during school holidays 📅 When and Where? Volunteer with F4YP for Your Duke of Edinburgh Award! 

Are you completing your Duke of Edinburgh Award and looking for an exciting, impactful way to fulfil your volunteering section? Young Person Work Experience

Join Fun 4 Young People (F4YP) for your work experience and learn what it takes to make a positive impact in the community! 🌟 💡 What You’ll Do: During your placement, you’ll gain hands-on experience in a variety of roles, including: ✅ Course Support: Assist tutors in delivering fun activities like sports, arts, and crafts for young people aged 5-16. ✅ 1:1 Support: Help children with reading, engagement, and building confidence. ✅ Planning and Preparation: Work with the team to organise sessions, set up equipment, and ensure smooth delivery. ✅ Pastoral Support: Learn how to foster a safe and welcoming environment while promoting positive behaviour. ✅ Team Collaboration: Shadow and support staff in their roles, from holiday clubs to after-school activities. 💖 What You’ll Gain: 🌟 Real-life experience in youth work, education, and community engagement. 🌟 Teamwork, communication, and organisational skills. 🌟 A chance to inspire and positively impact young people’s lives. 🌟 Insights into safeguarding, planning, and delivering engaging sessions. 🌟 A certificate of completion and references for future opportunities. 📅 When and Where?
