F4YP Legends

We asked some of our older young people to tell us their F4YP Story:

“I have come to F4YP since I was 8-9 years old. I have made lifelong friends and have also just met people along the way. Every single time I have come to holiday club, trips and volunteered with minis I have enjoyed and had fun each time. I will always remember the staff and people that have helped me when I have not been as happy or upset. Overall, my experience has been rewarding and helped me grow in multiple ways Thank you F4YP.”

YP - Aged 16

“I am quite new to F4YP, coming along has been a good experience especially coming to the Isle of White and going on a yacht, crabbing and swimming. Everyone is also generally “calm” and its fun to be around all the staff. The community has grown my inner feelings and at the end of every experience I feel refreshed.”

“I have come to F4YP since I was 7, 9 years ago. I have made long term best friends that I still see every month outside of F4YP. I feel like I’ve grown as a person, and I’ve experienced happiness, love and appreciation. I genuinely feel like I’ve bonded with the tutors and staff, and I feel comfortable around everyone. I’ve volunteered two times and could possibly see this as a future job. My cousins have joined F4YP as well because of my experience and they enjoy the club and come every half term and summer. I’ve also experienced going on a ferry and on a yacht for the first time. I would happily re-do my experience at F4YP again.”

They have made a home outside of home and a community where I’ve grown to become who I am now. They have truly elevated my life and given me some of the happiest moments. Thank You F4YP.”
